the woods… into

il caldo estivo è finalmente arrivato ed è qualche giorno che il sole si fa sentire, 
prepotente, come a volersi vendicare delle lamentele dei molto più
freschi giorni passati…

mi torna in mente mia nonna giò, che d’estate accostava tutte le persiane rivolte 
al sole e trasformava la casa in un luogo di penombra e frescura. naturalmente
lo faccio anche io, è quasi un rituale oltre che un atto di sopravvivenza, un segno 
che l’estate è arrivata.

e qui, in questo buio luminoso e rilassante ci si sente come immersi
in un immaginario boschetto frondoso…

o almeno è quello che provo io, certo se avessi una di queste meravigliose pareti 
dipinte o una carta da parati trompe l’oil infinitamente boscosa la sensazione 
sarebbe molto più reale.

summer heat wave is here and in the last few days the sun is very strong, 
as if he wanna take revenge of complaints about the fresh days gone by…

I remember that my grandma giò used to close a little every shutter facing the sun, 
turning the house in a half-light and cool place. I use to do the same, as a ritual 
beyond a surviving act, a sign that summer has come.      

 here, in this relaxing and bright darkness, you can loose yourself
in a imaginary leafy woods…

well, at any rate this is what I feel, and it would be more real if only I had one
of these wonderful painted walls or leafy wallpapers!

the lion, the witch… the wardrobe!

volevo farvi dare una sbirciatina nella cameretta della mia prillis, con il suo bellissimo 
armadio! è un vecchio armadio della zia, o della nonna, o della bisnonna… insomma,
lo ha rimesso a posto mia madre e lo ha pitturato di questo bellissimo color rosa corallo
che abbiamo campionato da una delle prime tutine della prillis, di petit bateau.

la prillis lo apre continuamente per togliere e rimettere dentro le sue cose, quindi non
ve lo faccio vedere aperto, l’interno è un mondo che vive di vita propria…
non escludo che potreste trovarci un fauno…

Home sweet home

it is not a news that pastels are in vogue, but when you say pastels everybody 

thinks about kids room or kitchen. and here we are! pastel colors could be used 

also in bathroom, living room or studio. 

I think it would be so relaxing working in a space like the one above, where 

everything is light and let your mind flow in whatever direction it will.

do you have pastels room in your home? I don’t. well, not yet!
