there’s a beautiful store near my house, where they sell clothes and accessories
for wich you would stick your nose to the window, as a child… every two weeks
they set up the windows… every two weeks it’s a torture! yes! because it’s impossible
not to find something you really love among what is displayed… so you start to desire
it ardently, telling yourself you do not need it, you have so many things that hardly
goes into your wardrobe… than you do a calculation to excuse the possible purchase…
goes on like this for three or four days until the desire begins to wane… if not…
then it’s clear you cannot do without!!!
sometimes it’s better when you find more tha one thing you would like to have
because the desire is not focused on one object and you can free your mind from
thinking oh my god I really want it! yes I’m talking about bags… this week
I saw two bags in the sinful window, the one at number 5, wonderful [I have a
real passion for fendi bags, sigh], and one by roberta di camerino, at number 1,
with the big buckle trompe l’œil…
hooray for desires! even if sometimes are so material… to lighten up today’s
consumer feelings I also added the japan relief tote by kate spade [sold out
in a microsecond], the sale of which has supported the japanese red cross.

sotto casa mia c’è un negozio stupendo, vendono solo abiti e accessori di quelli che
quando vedi la vetrina vorresti appiccicarci il naso come i bambini… ogni due settimane
rifanno le vetrine… ogni due settimane è una tortura! si perchè è impossibile che
non ci sia almeno un pezzo che ti fa impazzire tra quelli esposti… e allora cominci
a desiderarlo con ardore, ripetendo a te stessa che non ne hai bisogno, che non ti
serve, che hai già tante cose che non ci stanno più negli armadi… e poi cominci a farti
due conti per perdonare l’eventuale e desiderato esborso di denaro… passi così tre
o quattro giorni, finchè il desiderio comincia a scemare… se il desiderio non dà alcun
segno di diminuire… allora è chiaro che non ne puoi fare a meno!!!
a volte è meglio quando vedi più di una cosa che ti piace da impazzire perchè il
desiderio non si concentra su un solo oggetto e quindi riesci a distrarti molto più
facilmente dal pensiero fisso oddio quanto vorrei averne una! una, al femminile…
mi pare ovvio dall’immagine qui sopra che sto parlando di borse… questa settimana
ne ho viste due nella malefica vetrina, quella al numero 5, splendida [ho una passione
smodata per le borse di fendi, ahimè…], e una borsa di roberta di camerino, al numero
1, con la grande fibbia trompe l’œil sul davanti…
evviva i desideri! anche se ogni tanto sono materiali… per stemperare un po’ lo
spirito consumistico di oggi ho inserito anche la borsa che kate spade ha dedicato
al giappone la cui vendita [sono andate esaurite in un microsecondo], è andata
a sostegno della crocerossa giapponese.
