Into the woods…

Viviamo in un paese meraviglioso

FAI la tua parte…
è un gioco di parole, anche banale, ma è la verità, ognuno di noi può fare tutti 
i giorni la sua parte, per salvaguardare il pianeta, la natura e il patrimonio 
culturale che ci circonda.

viviamo in un mondo meraviglioso, in un paese meraviglioso, ce lo ricordano
anche quegli orribili cartelloni stradali che a nulla servono se non a deturpare
ancora di più il pesaggio… e di cose che possiamo fare ce ne sono veramente tante,
da quelle passive, come il NON buttare la spazzatura a terra, il NON deturpare 
le nostre città, NON rovinare il verde, a quelle attive, le solite, riciclare, comprare
prodotti non imballati o con un imballaggio dal ridotto impatto ambientale, 
coltivare un orto o le aiuole che aiutano la biodiversità, piantare alberi [ah gli alberi,
che meraviglia, secondo me non ce ne sono mai abbastanza], usare detersivi biologici,
essere gentili con il prossimo, amare gli animali [basterebbe anche un semplice 
NON trattarli male], andare in bicicletta o a piedi, sorridere di più, fare volontariato,
donazioni, etc etc. insomma cose da fare e da non fare ce ne sono all’infinito.

hallo curiosetti, I’m back from perù! 

it’s such an amazing place to go, at least once in a lifetime…

we leave on sunday and I have so many things to do before the end of the week! 

including work… but since I have worked on saturday and sunday because of 

an urgency, I will take tomorrow and wednesday afternoon off, so I could do all 

the last thing I have to before leaving!

I’m wandering around the web to find a place for my summer holidays… I would like
to see a lot of place around the world, and it’s supposed I have an entire life to plan,
flight, drive and visit… but at last, every year, it’s alway the same…

what is red in amsterdam?!

what a wonderful city amsterdam! I have ever loved netherlands since I was 

ten-y-o, and I can clearly remember my project on polder, tulips, wind mills 

et cetera for my primary school final exam…

well, this city is amazing. I would have loved to live in each house I saw going 

around with my bike! yeeeah, ippo convinced me to rent one! I was reluctant 

’cos there were bike darting around us, from every direction… instead… 

it had been really funny and we went everywhere up and down the canals!

still talking about stars… look at these incredible photographs taken by hubble 

telescope! seems to be painted! but this is what happens millions light years away 

from us, around our planet, just over our heads… simply amazing! even if all that 

empty dark space is really distressing to me… you know… that agonizing sensation 

of being so little and so alone in this big universe… it make me feel lost…

sentendomi così internazionale [italiano, francese, inglese…] ho deciso di ricominciare 
a scrivere la doppia versione in madrelingua… cosa ne dite curiosetti? ecco, allora inizio
dicendovi che si, ippo goes to paris… ahahah! scherzo… ippo va a parigi e mi lascia
qui, ma va per lavoro perciò… però avete visto? il mio elefantino è arrivato anche 
a parigi! nella foto numero 5 si vede il suo palloncino!!

the silent guardians…

here I am! It’s saturday morning, after a long walk in the park with sciré and a light
breakfast [just because the only thing I had in the fridge was a yoghurt, nothing else… 
uff! I really need to go to the supermarket today!!] I am here in front of my computer
writing to you… who is you? there is someone there?!

today I just wanna share with you some of the beautiful statues I saw in bali during
my last holiday… I promised you I would have talk about it and so this is the post!

hallo! 

work is going on very well! it’s very demanding and I have so many thing to do, 

all at once, but I’m so happy… in a week I have created 3 logos and I have two 

more to… great! and event mounting, invites, press folder, web layout, adv, etc… 

everyday it’s even more exciting!

hawaii essentials

last week, before june ending, we were talking about hawaii… 

as I said, we had gone in the north shore of oahu, and one day we went to visit honolulu 

and waikiki beach… absolutely awful! do you remember when merlin, in the disney 

the sword in the stone, shouts honoluluuuuu… I’m coming? well i had ever thought 

that honolulu was an exotic and fascinating place, as the north shore is… 

greetings from hawaii!!

today ippo and I took a trip to the navy base where his uncle is admiral! amazing!
if you don’t know the comsubin corp and the history of X° mas you can find
a lot of informations on the web.. it’s a piece of great history..

now we're coming back home.. the sun is setting in front of us.. what's better
of some vintage postcards from hawaii to make it even more moving?
definitely a great day!

..and tomorrow is the first day of july! stay tuned for the new calendar!!

honolulu baby..

we said that june is going to end.. and july is there, just behind the corner.. I woul like to go on holiday.. but with the new job I don't know if I will go somewhere or I have to stay here working.. for sure the place where I would like to go [again..] is.. hawaii!!

have you ever been there?! I can say yes!! it was october, 2009. pru,ferdi [a friend of us] and I stayed in ohau, north shore, for ten days! north shore, the country, it's a wanderful place and we could not be more lucky! ten days of sun, waves, good food and amazing landscape! there are no hotels in that part of the island, except for a golf resort.. and we were in the most beautiful place we could find: chun's reef, at marlu's house! a private terrace over the ocean... it was paradise!

we enjoyed every moments of the holiday.. and actually it's the only place where I would like to go back!

london calling...

here I am!

blogger had been out of order these days and, with my disappointment, the post red
kitchen has not yet been restored... uff.. anyway, with the hope that sooner or later they
restore it, here is the new post, I should have published yesterday, blogger allowing...

I go to london! leave tomorrow morning at 9am, so I have to get up early because
I came to mrs fr's home [mrs fr is my mother] to say hallo to her and my sweet cats!
two huors far from the airport.. and I'll stay away until the and of may, will you miss
me?? don't worry, I'll pop in sometime! and remember that 26 is my birthday!!

ny state of mind

arriva la primavera! con questo sole tiepido e il cielo cristallino 

mi viene voglia di partire, andare a scoprire qualche posto nuovo… 

oppure tornare in posti già conosciuti e tanto amati… 

capita anche a voi di provare quel senso di intimità con un luogo in cui 

siete già stati? quella sensazione di ritorno a casa, di affezione verso posti 

che magari avete visto una sola volta nella vita, magari per non più 

di una settimana, ma che vi sono rimasti nel cuore?
